𝟭) Less car and more movement. The summer is approaching, dust off the bike you have in the garage and use it to move around the small paths of every day, your body and our planet will thank you. Alternatively, you can use public transport, use sharing services or work your legs.

𝟮) Decrease the consumption of meat and fish. It is estimated that for every kilo of beef, 60 kg of CO2 are released into the atmosphere but it does not end there, the production of meat exploits 83% of agricultural land and 33% of agricultural water resources. Read the labels carefully to make sure the meat comes from organic and non-intensive farms or in cages.

𝟯) Planting a tree: today more and more initiatives allow the adoption of new trees, from e-commerce platforms (such as Tree-Nation or Treedom), where it is possible to buy plants and follow their growth, to search engines (such as Ecosia), in which your simple internet browsing funds reforestation in different parts of the globe.

𝟰) Prefer ecological cosmetics and detergents. Water is a very precious commodity, let’s not pollute it with reagents that are harmful to organisms and aquatic flora. Avoid silicones, parabens and harsh chemicals, your skin will also benefit.

𝟱) Buy sustainable clothes. Did you know that the fashion industry is among the most polluting in the world? Choose more sustainable and quality clothes and avoid buying clothes too often. And if you don’t want to give up on renewing your wardrobe, consider the world of second-hand and recycling.
