In December 2012 a 23-ton, 16-meter long whale beached on La Concha Beach.
Joseba is a plastic artist and suffer from Generalised Dystonia, his body twisted as the woods he moulds with his art. When the news of the beached whale came from the radio, without thinking it twice he ran toward the beach.
Since then, he daily collect adrift woods that the tide brings over, remains witness of the damage that the human being brings to the sea, and to the natural world, rejecting its belonging to it.
