A great final for Cinema e Ambiente Avezzano

The closing day of the Cinema e Ambiente Avezzano festival took place.
The evening began with the participation in the “Earth Hour” initiative promoted by the WWF to raise awareness around the world on global warming, then continued with the screening of the masterpiece “Captain Fantastic” by director Matt Ross and the award for Best Short Film won by the documentary “Animal Park” by the Tuscan director Antonio Spanò, a film set in the Virunga National Park, the oldest and most important park in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Edition, that of 2019, of great success: more than forty films concerning environmental protection were screened. A festival conceived with the aim of empowering and involving citizens and which, from edition to edition, is easily taking hold outside the city.
